As a teacher, Simon works with students of all ages and abilities, but now focuses primarily on adolescent singers at several of Brisbane’s most prestigious schools. He previously worked at Edge Hill University in England, where he taught private vocals and Acting through Song to all students in the Bachelor of Musical Theatre program.

Simon also works as a Rockschool Examiner through the Australian Music Examination Board, is in demand as an adjudicator, and regularly conducts vocal and performance workshops.

Simon’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Music Majoring in Contemporary Vocal Performance from JMC Academy, a Master of Music Studies in Vocal Pedagogy from Griffith University’s Queensland Conservatorium of Music, as well as a Grade 6 Certification in Contemporary Piano through from Rockschool.
